Punjab ICT Education Society Computer Faculty 2011-2012

Punjab Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Education Society, Chandigarh, Punjab, has invited applications from eligible candidates who are willing to serve anywhere in Punjab, for recruitment 2011, for the posts of Computer Faculty(s). The recruitment is to be done purely on contractual basis. However, the posts in the Punjab ICT Education Society will be made regular after 3 years of Continuous Services.

Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of their performance in the written test scheduled to be held on February 5, 2012 at Amritsar, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Patiala, Bathinda, SAS Nagar, Ferozepur and Pathankot centers (There will be no marks for the interview and academic qualifications). Computer Faculty:

• Should have obtained 3-years Diploma (Computer Science & Engineering / Information Technology) or BCA or B Sc (IT / CS / Internet Science) or BIT or B Level of DOEACC or BE / B Tech (IT / Computer Science) or BCAM or B Sc (Information system / Science) or BMIT or AMIE examination of IETE in Computer Science & Engineering or MCA or M Sc (IT / Computer Science / Software / Software System) or MIS or MIT or M Tech (Computer Science) or M Sc (Networking and Protocol Designing) or M Sc (IT) (LE), with at least 50% marks. (Educational qualification must be from a recognized University / Board.)
• Should have passed Punjabi in matriculation or higher examination
• Should be Resident of Punjab state

Note: In case of Under Graduate candidates, the course duration should be three years with computer related full subjects. Graduate candidates with one subject as computer, need not apply. And in case of Post Graduate candidates, the course duration of two years with computer related full subjects in relevant qualification will be mandatory.

Age Limit

• Minimum 18 years and Maximum 37 years as on January 1, 2011 (Age relaxation as per the rules of Punjab Government)

Note: Relaxation in upper age for SC/BC category is five years and for physical Handicapped is ten years.

Where are the Singhs and Kaurs?

Guru Gobind Singh Ji bapstised us into the Khalsa and gave titled us with Singh for the men and Kaur for the ladies. Singh means Lion and Kaur means Princess. Indeed what an honour for us.

It seems the New Age Sikhs feel that these titles are irrerelevent to the present day high society and therefore have discontinued them. What a shame that those calling themselves sikhs are refusing the titles bestowed to them by our Guru for the sake of being included to this so-called High society.

तनाव घटाना है तो विटामिन बी खाएं

यदि आप कामकाज से संबंधित तनाव कम करना चाहते हैं तो विटामिन बी से भरपूर आहार खूब लें। मांस, सेम और साबुत अनाज में भरपूर मात्रा में विटामिन बी मिलता है। स्विमबर्न यूनीवर्सिटी ऑफ टेक्नोलॉजी के कॉन स्टफ ने तीन महीने के एक परीक्षण के बाद यह परिणाम पेश किए हैं।

अध्ययन में शामिल प्रतिभागियों को इस दौरान विटामिन बी की अतिरिक्त खुराक दी गई थी। ह्यूमन साइकोफार्मेकोलॉजी जर्नल के मुताबिक स्टफ का कहना है कि तनाव कम करके हम दिल से संबंधित बीमारियों, अवसाद व चिंता भी कम कर सकते हैं।

शोधकर्ताओं ने व्यक्तित्व, कार्य की आवश्यकताओं, मनोदशा, उत्कंठा और तनाव को ध्यान में रखते हुए 60 प्रतिभागियों का आकलन किया था। इन प्रतिभागियों का 30 दिन और 90 दिन पर परीक्षण किया गया था।

उन्होंने कहा तीन महीने की अवधि के अंत में देखा गया कि जिन प्रतिभागियों को विटामिन बी की अतिरिक्त खुराक दी गई थी उनमें इस अध्ययन की शुरुआत की तुलना में अब कामकाज का तनाव कम था।

मांस, सेम व साबुत अनाजों में प्रचुर मात्रा में मिलने वाला विटामिन बी मनोवैज्ञानिक स्वास्थ्य के लिए आवश्यक न्यूरोट्रांसमीटर्स के संश्लेषण के लिए महत्वूर्ण होता है।

Where is Guru's Gurudwara...?

When Guru Nanak laid the foundation of Sikhism more 500 years ago, one of its primary features was the equality of all humans. Thus castism has no place in Sikhism.
It is unfortunate that the Modern Sikh has dispensed with many of the founding ideas of Sikhi and has also become castist. Even the Gurudwaras have not been spared. Suddenly we find that there is no Gurudwara for the Guru - only of various communities and are now labeled as 'Ravidas Guruduwara','Ramgarhian da Guruduwara' etc.

Five K's of Modern Times

The five Kakkars bestowed upon the Sikhs by Guru Gobind Singh are the basic essence of Sikhi and were supposed to not only set us apart from the multitudes but to instill the concept of �Saint-Soldier�. This concept is the true reflection of the timeless nature of Democratic Religiosity which is enshrined only in Sikhism.

Kesh is a symbol of Saintliness. Kanga, the comb, is necessary for keeping the hair clean and tidy. Kara a symbol of restraint and gentility is also a reminder that the Sikh is forever bonded to the Guru. Made of iron, it reminds you to be like iron to fight for justice and to protect the innocent. Kachhehra is regarded as symbol of chastity and self control. Kirpan, an emblem of courage and adventure, is also a symbol of self-respect, prestige and independence. It is supposed to be used only for self-defense or for the defence of the weak and innocent.

With the passage of time, the concept of Sikh Identity and the five Kakkars has also changed. The modern Sikh Society has discarded the original Kakkars as irrelevant and have adopted the Modern Kakkars. The new Kakkars are Kothi(Banglow), Kar(Car), Kash(Cash), Kukkad(Chicken) and Kudi(Girls).

ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦੀ ਅੱਛਾਈ ਤਾਂ ਹਰ ਕੋਈ ਦੱਸਦੈ,
ਛੁਪਾ ਕੇ ਰੱਖੀ ਕੋਈ ਬੁਰਾਈ ਵੀ ਦੱਸੋ,

ਨੇਕੀ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਤਾਂ ਹਰ ਕੋਈ ਕਰਦੈ,
ਕਦੇ ਧੋਖੇ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਮਾਈ ਵੀ ਦੱਸੋ,

ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦਾ ਹਰ ਬੰਦਾ ਖੁਦ ਨੂੰ ਮਸੀਹਾ ਦੱਸਦੈ,

ਲ਼ੱਗਦਾ ਇਹਦੇ ਨਸੀਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਸ ਇਹੋ ਰਹਿ ਗਿਆ,

ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਕੀ ਹੈ? ਇਨਸਾਨ ਦੇ ਜਨਮ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਨ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਅਸੀ ਕਿਥੋਂ ਆਏ ਹਾਂ? ਕਿੱਥੇ ਜਾਣਾ ਹੈ? ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਨ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਦੇ ਦਿਮਾਗ ਵਿਚ ਚੱਕਰ ਲਾਉਂਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।ਜੇ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਸਾਡੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਸਾਡੇ ਜਨਮ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਡੀ ਮੌਤ ਨਾਲ ਖਤਮ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਭਾਵ ਸਾਡੇ ਜਨਮ ਅਤੇ ਮੌਤ ਦਾ ਵਕਫਾ ਹੀ ਸਾਡੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਹੀ ਸਾਡੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦਾ ਸਫਰ ਹੈ।

ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਗ਼ੀ ਹੋਏ ਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਦਲ ਦਾ ਜ਼ਿਕਰ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਸਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਾਂ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨਾਲ ਧ੍ਰੋਹ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਜਦੋਂਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਖੁਦ ਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਨੂੰ ਉਸਦੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਵਿੱਤ ਮੰਤਰਾਲੇ ਦਾ ਅਹੁਦਾ ਸੌਂਪਿਆ ਸੀ। ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਨੇ ਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਰ ਵਾਰ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਪਰ ਉਸਨੇ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਧੋਖਾ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਬਾਦਲ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜੇਕਰ ਉਹ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਬਣਨ ਦੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਜ਼ਾਹਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੇਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦਾ ਅਹੁਦਾ ਵੀ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ-ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਦੇ ਦਿੰਦੇ।

ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਬੀ.ਐੱਡ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰਾਂ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਹੁਣ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਯੋਗਤਾ ਟੈਸਟ ਲਾਜ਼ਮੀ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਪੜ੍ਹਾ ਰਹੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਟੈਸਟ ਪਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪੰਜ ਸਾਲ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਟੈਸਟ ਤੋਂ ਟਾਲਾ ਵੱਟਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਵਾ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਵਸੀਲਿਆਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਕਪਿਲ ਸਿੱਬਲ ਨੇ ਇੱਥੋਂ ਦੇ ਸੀ.ਆਈ.ਆਈ. ਸੈਂਟਰ ਵਿਚ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਕਰਾਏ ਸੈਮੀਨਾਰ ‘ਚ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਲਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਲਏ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਇਸ ਟੈਸਟ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਸੈਮੀਨਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਖਲਾਈ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਲਾਏ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਬੀ.ਐੱਡ ਲਾਜ਼ਮੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਈ ਰਾਜਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਦਬਾਅ ਹੇਠ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਬੀ.ਐੱਡ. ਪਾਸ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਦੀ ਕੱਚੀ ਨੌਕਰੀ ਦੇ ਦਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਸਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੈਗੂਲਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਮਜਬੂਰੀ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨਾਂ੍ਹ ਦੇਸ਼ ‘ਚੋਂ ਅਨਪੜ੍ਹਤਾ ਖਤਮ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਅਗਲੀ ਪੰਜ ਸਾਲਾ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਦਸਵੀਂ ਤਕ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਮੁਫ਼ਤ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਤਾਂ ਪੱਛਮੀ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਰਜ਼ ‘ਤੇ ਉੱਚ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਵੀ ਲਾਜ਼ਮੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਫਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਹੱਕ ਵਿਚ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਅਜੇ ਆਮਦਨ ਦੇ ਸਾਧਨ ਸੀਮਤ ਹੋਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਸੰਭਵ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉੱਚ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿਚ ਵਾਧਾ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ ‘ਤੇ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਵਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਨਾਂ੍ਹ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੱਛਮੀ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ 18 ਤੋਂ 20 ਸਾਲ ਦੇ 70 ਫੀਸਦੀ ਬੱਚੇ ਉੱਚ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਲੈ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿਚ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਦਰ 15 ਫੀਸਦੀ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਉਨਾਂ੍ਹ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਜਮਾਤ ਵਿੱਚ 25 ਫੀਸਦੀ ਸੀਟਾਂ ਪਛੜੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਰਾਖਵੀਂਆਂ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜੇ ਹਰ ਸਾਲ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਜਮਾਤ ਵਿਚ ਝੁੱਗੀ ਝੌਪੜੀਆਂ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੇ 25 ਫੀਸਦੀੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਦਾਖ਼ਲ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਤਾਂ ਅਗਲੇ ਅੱਠ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਮਕਸਦ ਪੂਰਾ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਈਵੇਟ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਸਸਤੇ ਭਾਅ ਅਲਾਟ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਵਕਾਲਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਈਵੇਟ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਗਰੀਬ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਫਤ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਦੀ ਆਸ ਰੱਖੀ ਜਾਣੀ ਬਣਦੀ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਸਸਤੀਆਂ ਦਰਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਵੀ ਸਾਡੀ ਹੀ ਬਣਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨਾਂ੍ਹ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਸ਼ਹਿਰੀ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਗੱਲ ਕਰ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿਚ ਲਾਗੂ ਵੀ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਅਨੁਪਾਤ 1:30 ਨਾ ਹੋਣ ‘ਤੇ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਵਾ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਲਾਜ਼ਮੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਐਕਟ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਕਿੱਤਾਮੁਖੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦੇਣ ਦੇ ਹੱਕ ਵਿਚ ਹੈ ਇਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਸੀ.ਬੀ.ਐਸ.ਸੀ. ਨੂੰ ਸਕੂਲ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਕਿੱਤਾਮੁਖੀ ਕੋਰਸਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੁਫਤ ਕਲਾਸਾਂ ਲਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਨਾਂ੍ਹ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਹੁਕਮ ਇੰਜਨੀਅਰਿੰਗ ਕਾਲਜਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਵੀ ਲਾਗੂ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨੌਵੀਂ ਕਲਾਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਹ ਕੋਰਸ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਕਿੱਤੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਸਨਅਤ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਹੀ ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਸਿਲੇਬਸ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਸੌ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਕੋਰਸਾਂ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਸ਼ੋਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਬੰਦ ਕਰਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵੱਲ ਵੀ ਇਸ਼ਾਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਗਲੇ ਕੁਝ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ, ਕਾਲਜਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨੈੱਟ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਜੋੜਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਸੀ.ਆਈ.ਆਈ. ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕਾਂ ਹਰਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ, ਸੁਧੀਰ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਜੇ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੇ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕੀਤਾ।

2 ਪਹਿਲਵਾਨਾਂ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਕੁਸ਼ਤੀ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ। ਦਰਸ਼ਕਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਇਕ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਜ਼ੋਰ-ਜ਼ੋਰ ਨਾਲ ਚੀਕ ਕੇ ਇਕ ਪਹਿਲਵਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਕਹਿ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ,”ਤੋੜ ਦੇ ਇਸਦਾ ਜਬਾੜਾ, ਕੱਢ ਦੇ ਇਸਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੰਦ।”
ਕੋਲ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਇਕ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਬੋਲਿਆ,”ਭਾਈ ਸਾਹਿਬ, ਕੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੀ ਪਹਿਲਵਾਨ ਹੋ?”
ਉਹ ਬੋਲਿਆ,”ਜੀ ਨਹੀਂ, ਮੈਂ ਦੰਦਾਂ ਦਾ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਹਾਂ।”

ਇਕ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦਾ ਵਿਆਹ ਇਕ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਔਰਤ ਨਾਲ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਜੋ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਫਾਈ-ਪਸੰਦ ਸੀ। ਪਹਿਲੇ ਹੀ ਦਿਨ ਉਸਨੇ ਸਫਾਈ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਘਰ ਨੂੰ ਚਮਕਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਪਤੀ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਘਰ ਆਇਆ ਤਾਂ ਬੋਲਿਆ,”ਇਸ ਮੇਜ਼ ‘ਤੇ ਜੋ ਧੂੜ ਜੰਮੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ, ਉਹ ਕਿਸਨੇ ਸਾਫ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ?”
ਪਤਨੀ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਬੋਲੀ,”ਮੈਂ।”
ਪਤੀ ਗੁੱਸੇ ਨਾਲ ਬੋਲਿਆ,”ਸਤਿਆਨਾਸ, ਉਸ ‘ਤੇ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਕਈ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਫੋਨ ਨੰਬਰ ਲਿਖੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ।”
